You guys, my house is crooked. No joke. I was in my basement the other night having a reasonably serious conversation with a friend when I stopped in the middle and said, "I think my window is crooked." We measured. Turns out it is. Awesome. There also may be an issue with my front door. Should I be worried about this? I mean, I kind of am cuz oh, IT'S MY HOUSE!!! I tried to take a picture to illustrate said crookedness, but the picture looks fine so now I kind of feel like I'm insane.
Speaking of which (the house, not the insanity), I'm trying to do a little bit of decorating (including curtains...maybe). So I need your help/opinion. My basement is just a TV room---nothing else. Right now all I have in it is my little red couch/hide-a-bed that I love. So, I'm gonna either get one giant love sac OR two less giant love pillows. What should I do? I keep changing my mind.
I know. It's a hard decision, right? What would YOU do?

2 love pillows. I've seen people trying to rid themselves of love sacs on craigslist and there are no takers. They're fun in the college/single life, but eventually they'll just be a big hassel. (Or better yet, get a couple of hammocks and hang them from your ceiling - That would really make a house a home!)
PS. How are you planning on hanging crooked curtains?
I don't even know what a love pillow is, but it sounds naughty, so I say go for it.
TaiPan Trading had some cute floor pillows. I think that is better than a giant lov sac.
All houses are crooked so don't freak out!
Wallpaper is not in style anymore but years ago it was and I put plenty of it up and that is when you see just how crooked walls and ceilings really are.
You are not alone.
I think many pillows would be great!! Great for sitting and great for pillow fights!
i say 2 love pillows, whatever the heck they are. love sacs are sooooooo incredibly large. but hey if you like incredibly large then the love sac. i'm easy, i'll agree to which ever you choose! my house is a bit off kilter also, but then so am i!
ha ha....I am laughing at Kristene's comment...Love Pillows.
Just the very name could open up lots of potential "stuff" for you (*tee, hee)
I have to tell you a little story about "crooked"
When my sister's husband retired, they moved into my grandmothers old home...on the same acreage as my parents live.
She wanted to maintains as much of the original integrity of the home as possible, but they did have to put in a new heating system, built on a garage.
But the point is, when my grandpa built the house, the floor in the kitchen was crooked/slanted. You can litteraly role a marble down it by simply placing it on the floor.
My sister LOVE IT, cause it was what grandma always had to live with.
so..I guess...crooked isn't all that bad????
I'm with Kristina - love pillows, all the way. For the naughty factor alone ;)
Also, I wrote you back {like a really really really long comment...over at my blog} about why hippies are mean to me.
And why maybe I deserve it.
xo!
I say give up and go get some ice cream. Usually works for me.
Your story reminds me of the nursery ryme. Its OK to live in a crooked house as long as you are a crooked man who walked a crooked mile... do you have a crooked cat?
Pillows! Love them and they are snuggly.
Sorry about the crooked house, now you know a good explanation for being hump-backed.
It looks like I am alone on this, but we LOVE our live sac, and everyone who visits wishes they had one.
I'm just sitting here eating cashews and wondering myself what would be better, a big love sac or love pillows. All I know is it's hard to take a Love Sac upstairs and put in the back of a mini van for a RS activity. Make your decision off that info!
Hmm they both sound like fun options. I'd try both of them out at the store, see which is really more comfortable.
And sorry your house is crooked. Let's just hope it was crooked from the start and not sinking or something.
I vote love pillows! The love sac will eat up the whole room---unless you want it to do that. :)
We've been looking at ditching our old couches in the TV room and getting a couple of huge beanbag couches. Which (thanks to Google) I now know are called love sacs. So that has my vote.
My sister's place is crooked. Drives me nuts, because I feel like I am dizzy when i go downstairs!
Now, I say? Couches.
