America's Next Top Model

I would just like to say that this picture was not my idea. You would think the only girl in the family would be the one trying to get modeling poses in...but no, it was the guy in the denim shirt. I call him Johnny. I'm not entirely certain what the point of it all was...but I'm definitely glad I have this picture. I think my favorite part is how you can see Joey's bright blue retainer. That's hot.

And can you totally see how I'm smiling with my eyes? Yeah-Tyra taught me how.

And, since a few people requested to see a picture of my magic red shoes, here they are.

I'm totally smiling with my eyes in this picture, too. Can't you tell?

*And also, on my preview option when I blog this, the format of this post looks much less lame. Someday I'm gonna have to have someone teach me how to make my blog pretty.*

I think you have a future in the industry, definitely.

Did Tyra come to your house and reenact a scene from Snow White with the red apple? Because that scene didn't make me cringe with embarrassement at all.

Love the shoes.

Lol...glad you guys took pics like this growing up and you now post them! :)

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Now, that's the Barbie that I remember meeting for the first time! This pic might have been taken before our actual meeting...but let's be honest...those were awesome years for us all! :D

You are clearly a rock star. First, the modeling, then the shoes.

So now that I've established how amazingly cool you are, I was wondering if you'd noticed that our blog backgrounds are EXACTLY the same color?

Does that make me cool by association? Just wondering.

I love the picture. Love the hairstlyes. Love the sexy shoes.
I too could use some blog help so if you find some, be sure to share the love.

Excellent shoes. I'm not great at smiling with my eyes, but I can sure silence my kiddos with a well-placed glare. That counts, right?

I love your stance while wearing your shoes. Very ANTMish.

Barbaloot...you are fierce! Tyra would be so proud. Did you forward her the link to this post so that she can appreciate how all of her hard work in making you into a "top model" and not simply a "commercial model" so obviously paid off? If you have not, consider doing so immediately.

I like you Barbaloot. You have a refined taste in movies and TV. We are following you.

Those shoes are what you would call "sassy" ... or maybe "fierce" in ATM world.

I don't know why you haven't found a man yet. Well we all know how intimidated men get around a hot lady, and with you wearing those shoes and those smiling eyes....you might not be dating seriously, but all those men have you seriously on their mind. GRRRR....

You have some serious modeling talent. SERIOUS TALENT. Ok really, I don't think I could ever make my feet look that good...red shoes or not. Also I have webbed toes....ok, not really....just ugly feet...ok, not really that either...just ugly shoes? Your feet look fab.

Tyra taught you how! THat's funny.

If you find somebody to make your blog pretty, could you share that person with me?

In the meantime, I just always put my pictures large and centered. Then I don't get any surprises.

What a great photo. And I gotta get some of those shoes.

The peek-a-boo toes are quite the THANG. No doubt they not only liberate your social inhibitions, I'm sure they cause OTHERS to flock to YOU.

Do they cause weight loss and remove acne as well?

I'm trying to figure out how you took the picture of your shoes. Did you train your cat to click the button, or did you have to rig up a series of mirrors to get that perfect shot? Amazing...if you don't make it in the fashion industry, I think there's a future for you in photography!

Ooooh la la. Loving those Dorothy shoes. "There's no place like home."

You do have small feet, eh?

You should def wear those to church when you're greeting. I hear guys with curly dark hair like sassy red heels.

Are you wearing panty hose????? GASP!!!

Red is my favorite color.

Buffy Dayton said...

Yeah, what is the deal with panty hoes I mean hose? Just kidding....Love the picture, joe is so hot. And there's no place like home that's because i'm in America.

Nice shoes, yada yada.

I'm really here to talk about TBL. Can I say, totally ticked off? I'm just plain mad. Even though we hate Tara, I have to say "amen" to her tirade.

Hmph.

Barbara, I was thinking of your shoes and thought that I can't live without blogging anymore, so I resurrected my blog, and we called a truce.

I told you in my comment section that I only live an hour and a half from Boston now. So, you don't have to wait until I move there to accompany me to all the revolutionary sites! :)

You have a great blog! It's my first visit - I came over here from your comment on 'On Top of the World'... and I'll be back to read it, no matter what it looks like! But if you really are looking for a change, I have a list of my favorite websites for free and cheap blog backgrounds on my sidebar. I love changing my backgrounds with the seasons and the holidays, but that's just me...
Happy blogging!

Barbaloot, where have you been all week? Are you busy loading the Bring it On DVDs onto your blog, like we talked about? :)

Just wanted you to know that I am going to follow-up on your suggestion to post the pictures Kacey's teal prom dress on Sunday. Should be a good time...at least for you and me!
