My Dilemma

Actually, I have two dilemmas.

First: Bring It On and Bring It On: All or Nothing are on at the same time. Which should I watch?! Good thing the other two versions aren't also on right now else I would possibly go into an indecisive state of shock.

Dilemma two: so, I have these bright red heels that I wore to church yesterday and they're kind of awesome. They even have the power to temporarily turn me into a friendly, social person rather than my wall flower-ish self. Cool, eh? So the dilemma? They're just not as comfortable and familiar as my black flats that I bought from Journeyz Kids. (Yes, Journeyz Kids. I have not large feet.) They're the ones that I wear when I'm busy not greeting the new people in the ward and trying to make them feel welcome cuz I worry that they'll think I'm weird.

Wow. I just said a little prayer for you in my heart, that you will know what to do about these grueling choices.

Now, I haven't seen the second Bring It On, but I did love the first. Who wouldn't?

And I have a lot of shoes, many of them wonderful and gorgeous, and very uncomfortable. Sometimes the pain is worth it, other times, I wear nice, not as cute ballet flats. It's a tough choice.

I'm ashamed to admit that I've never seen this "bring it on" of which you speak - do I get banned now?

Shoes - I'm usually a comfort girl - but a REALLY awesome pair of heels has been known to tempt me now and then. (and at 4'11" I should probably be tempted more often)
Journeyz Kids... I'll have to check them out - I've got me some not so big feet as well :)

I've only seen the first movie and that was a riot.

And now for the Shoes. Can't they take turns?

Kristina and Alyson-I highly recommend you take a trip to your local video stores (do we call them DVD stores now?) and rent the remaining 3 DVDs. You won't be disappointed. Perhaps a little ditzier, but not disappointed. And Alyson---I don't see bright red heels and black flats cooperating well enough to take turns. How is such a thing possible?

T-yes. Go to Journeyz Kids. They have super cute shoes that are often cheaper than other grown-up stores. And it beats stuffing toilet paper in the toes shoes because you can't find ones small enough.

Not knowing the movies will probably reveal my age...who cares! But, being a comfort girl myself, there is something to be said about a nice pair of heels!!! And, if the heels take you out of the wall flower stage then I say DEFINITELY the heels!!!

I cannot wear heels, so that would be a no-brainer for me.

I was watching the All or Nothing one for a while today...I just can't look away when it's on...

I must say I would change the channel and cozy into watching Nick at Nite, but life's full of tough choices babe!

And I wore a most uncomfortable pair of SUPER high but amazingly cute heels to church yesterday, thinking I was "the CANT in, "you cant touch this." Until my dear hubby told me I was walking funny.
Personally I think if you feel good wear it!

Bring it on, you have to stick with the original. (Sorry, I think I'm a little late cuz they're over - I happened to notice them in the TV guide today as well.) Everyone needs some healthy I-feel-sexy-even-though-I'm-in-church-and-should-feel-holy-shoes... mine are hot pink.

Okay, I know all the right answers to the very important questions you asked, but I'm not telling. Because my feet, or let's be honest, boats, are a whopping size 9 1/2. And so right now I'm seething with jealousy and can't answer anything at all.

So sad.

I wish I could see a photo of you. I can't imagine you as a wall flower with tiny feet.

Wear the RED SPIKEY HEELS! Then Bring IT ON, Baby!

About the movie: don't watch either one. Hello, Another Cinderella Story has been showing ever since last night!!! And, about the shoes: WEAR THEM, WEAR THEM, WEAR THEM!!! Just think of them as one more thing to make Sunday stand out in your week. Oh, and I'm super jealous. I have been looking for red heels forever! I just can't find what I'm looking for!!!!!!!!!!! Embrace your social hotness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I married Greg I'm not allowed to wear heels. Well, I could if I really wanted to, but Greg despises them. I used to love wearing them, but it was still quite easy to give up for him. BUT, if you feel like a whole new woman when you wear them, DO!! Maybe just not every day. ;)

Um, I finally counted not too long ago, and I have NINE pairs of red shoes. Most of which have at least some kind of heel. So, considering the fact that this is obviously an extremely biased opinion, YOU MUST WEAR THE SHOES! And probably they'll get more comfortable. At least give them a chance. For me.

How is it that no one has seen the 4-part GRIPPING series known as "Bring it On"? Barbaloot, we are lucky to have you with us in the blogosphere. How else would everyone know about Bring it On, Bring it On Again, Bring it On: All or Nothing, and last, but certainly not least, Bring it On: In it to Win it.

If you are not sitting down for a movie marathon immediately, I think the least you can do is set up some sort of streaming video on your blog so that your readers can know the fabulousness that may be found in a movie about cheerleading.

PS: Ditch the flats. My grandmother always said that it takes a bit of pain to be beautiful.

Days like this you wish you had TVo. I would probably see if either repeats itself and watch the one that doesn't repeat.

What's more important—comfort or being comfortable… wait, that's not being helpful.

Just where what you want at the moment!

I'm there! Your size 3 feet are going to make my 4s look big - I thought I was the only adult who could still find a pair of shoes that fit that had "Barbie" written across the sole :)

Ok, freakiness (or coolness, you might think)!! I had a major nightmare last night and that's not normal for me. It wasn't about "The Ring", but still...

Lesson learned. I'll never try to tease you into having nightmares again, my voodoo priestess!

This is one of the rare times I disagree with Three Bay B. Comfort trumps style.

I solved the tv dilemma problem by getting DVR but I can totaly relate.

I'm pretty sure the Hot red heels will attract more guys:) You can show them you black flats afterword to show your practical side. Sexiness first :) Good Luck!

Seeing as how I simply haven't had time to sit and watch t.v., let alone dither about what to watch, I can't help you with the first dilemma. But dilemma #2 is easy:

Dr. Scholls inserts.

Seriously.

Get yourself a little 'jellin' power with those little gel pads, and your feet will love you. Because there simply are days that you have to wear red heels. (I, too, had a pair in my day, and now that the ol' bum knee prevents it, I miss them! So wear them with pride, and you can dedicate your next bunion to me!)

Alyson | New England Living said...

Ok, I said this in my comment box and then realized that I should just come over here and repeat it...

Anyway, you are the sweetest for feeling bad, as I'm the one that got that karma ball rolling. It was voodoo of my own making. I totally deserved it too.

My nightmare, by the way, consisted of a cemetery that sits on a hill by our house (which doesn't exist in reality, only in this warped dream world) and a guy running around the cemetery at night and then around our house, wanting to kills us! Mmm, yeah.

I think you were feigning your guilt a little over the nightmare. I can see your smirk! hehehe

Thanks for officially blessing me NOT to have a nightmare tonight. Which hymn should I sing?

Buffy Dayton said...

First of all, about bring it on....watch.....neither. Second, about the shoes, I LOVE your mossimo shoes that you wore to church on sunday, wear those EVERYDAY!!! Just kidding, but do wear those, they are soooo cute!

Coming from a girl who's ankles are weaker than her self-restraint, I say go for comfort. Wallflowers unite!

Alyson | New England Living said...

hehehehe! You had me cracking up in my comment box. Thanks for the recommendations for hymns-to-sing-when-we-don't-want-to-have-nightmares!

Oh, and loved your reason for going to institute! ;)

Alyson | New England Living said...

Oh, and you so deserved that brightening of your "I'm So Utah Mormon" neon sign because you turned the other cheek when I was smacking you over the head with scary imagery and blessed me not to have any nightmares anyway. Ahhhh....

I hate being last to the party. But, if I had been on time, I would have worn the red shoes.

nevadanista said...

Wear the heels for me, because I'm 5' 11 3/4", and so I never wear them. I really don't want to be 6'3". The grass is always greener , right. Wear the heels!!!!! I'm begging you...

i would love to see pics of said shoes!

Came here from Alyson's blog.

Comfort takes second place (by a long way) to lookin' good.

Trust me. I'm a Dad.

Hey I have some silver shoes that work that same magic for me. Mostly they stay at home but sometimes a break them out and chat anyones ear off.

I am so jealous that you can wear kids shoes. I was probably born with hoofs as big as your tiny feet. They are not pretty.

Jen R. said...

I red heels too. I LOVE THEM! Every girl should own...one really great little black dress and a great pair of red heels.

Shelley said...

two words - DVR, DR. Schols - I guess that is 3 words! When I was in NY I went to the "high heel-a-thon" and they gave us Dr. Schols inserts for high heels - I fully recommend them!

Randi said...

I have to vote for the heels! I mean, it's only 3 hours, right?

Elisa said...

I want red heels. BAD!

How cool are you? Tiny feet, hot shoes, and great taste in movies? You have no dilemnas... only coolness.
