Happy Birthday!

Today I went to my grandmother's 100th Birthday party. She told me she hopes I live to be 100. I'm not so sure I feel the same way... She also told me I was her favorite part of the party. I may or may not have pressured her into saying that.

This picture is of my mom(standing), my Aunt Barbara, my grandma and me at our family reunion this past summer.

My grandma is an amazing woman and it was great to go to her party and see so many of her friends and family who are better people for having her in their lives. If I live to be even half as awesome as she is I'll consider my life a success.

I wish my grandma was still around.
Look how cute your grandma is. My grandma would have never said something like I was the best thing at her party. She went senile...and cursed at everybody. Love and miss her.

Awe that is the nicest thing to read from a granddaughter as I have 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and hope I live to be 100 as well..I'm on my way as I'm 63.

How fun! Your grandma is so cute. 100. Yeah, I don't want to live that long. I think 87 sounds like a pretty good number.

Hey wait she told me I was her favorite part of the party.

I don't know if I want to live to be 100. My birthday is in a few days, I'm struggling with the thought of being 29....

That is so amazing! Happy Birthday Grandma!!!!! It is overwhelming to think about all the changes and things she has seen in a century.

That's so awesome that she's lived that long, and that she's still coherent!
My great-grandma lived to 96, but she had alzheimers for nearly 20 years before she finally moved on. I can't imagine living like that.

That is impressive. I don't want to live to 100 either. Can you imagine how many crocheted blankets would fill our closets?

You're smiling there because you just messed up your mom's house! I just know it!

Seriously, that rocks that she's 100 and she must love it if she wishes the same for you.

I hear you though...I'm thinkin' outta here about mid to late 80's.

The women in your family sure age well! Just another reason why Barb is an excellent catch! (Boys, are you paying attention?)

Holy Moly --100---think of all the things she has seen happen over the course of her years. WOW
I want to be 100. (that is if I don't need diapers and someone to dab the drool in my chin)

What a wonderful woman to have in your life to look up to.

My grandma is 86. I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to make it to 100. But I sure want her too!

Wow! She looks amazing. I can't believe she's 100- I wouldn't peg her at a day over 70! I hope you make it 100 too.

You are so blessed to have good, long-lasting genes! That is awesome! I wouldn't mind living until 100, IF my husband could still be alive AND I had a functional mind and body.
