Okay-so I know I promised that MOS would be the next post. But you're just gonna have to wait for a minute cuz I just found out something SO important!!!
Dennis Haskins is speaking at the opening of Argosy University in SLC this Friday! If you don't have an unadulterated love for all things Saved By The Bell and an uncanny ability to remember every name of every person who ever appeared on the show (guest stars included), then I should tell you that Dennis Haskins is the one and only Mr. Belding. And he's coming to MY state! To speak at Argosy University. Which, incidentally, I don't know what that is, but I'm sure it'll be a good thing since Utah doesn't have very many places of higher learning.
Do you think I should go to the event and get my picture taken with Dennis? And maybe ask him when there's gonna be a Saved by the Bell reunion?!

Do you think that they could arrage some sort of throwdown with him and Mario Lopez? I would pay good money to see Mr. Belding kick Slater's arse.
LOL :) Kristina's comments are the best!
I loved that show... If you get a picture with him you'll have to post it up here on your Blog. Do you remember the early years with Miss Bliss? I always hoped she would come back and the two would start dating but alas Haley Mills couldn't be persuaded.
A reunion would be great; they did saved by the bell the college years why not the golden years?
Argosy U must be some swell place of higher learning to have the honor of hosting Mr. Belding. I wonder how much he charges....I would actually rather see Screech in person.
No you wouldn't, ms. machen. Screech has gone all Hugh Hefner now. Sicko.
But it's always fun to rub shoulders with a celebrity. I crossed the street once when I was a kid in Honolulu and came within about two hundred yards of Tom Selleck. That's about the closest I'll ever get to THAT childhood dream...
All I have to say is Zach's still hot.
Wow, Mr. Belding. That's impressive/exciting/disturbingly double chinnish (he was much skinnier back in the bell days.) And what the heck is Argosy University? I lived in Utah for 20 years and never heard of that place...
I used to think Saved By The Bell was called Slaved By The Bell. I don't know why, and I don't know what that even could have meant, but when I realized it ws SAVED By The Bell, it all made much more sense. Go figure.
argosy university sounds made up.
are you sure this isn't a taping of the reunion show?
i hope it is, and we see you filmed as an extra.
how cool would that be? answer = totally!
I think maybe you should get over your saved by the bell fettish or however you say that, and yes, Joe likes our dog, but I think Jack is allergic, yes I did get a dog, but I waited till joe got home and said it was okay. She is sooo cute.
Man, Mr. Belding is looking a little old and bloated! I vote YES! Go see him and go have your picture taken with him. Do it for the sake of your blogging friends! :)
Totally do it!
Thanks for the comment on my site! We have one of those ugly ornaments too at my parents house. Actually this is the first year after their divocrce...I wonder where it went! Didn't we all make those picture lids?
You must go! If I wasn't already busy, I would so car pool up with you. You may never get the chance again!!!
My comment continued . . . I was curious and googled the school. First of all 'light refreshments' will be served afterward and who doesn't love any sort of free food?
Second of all, how cool to get a new university--for future commenters, it seems like Argosy specializes in graduate/doctoral programs which is awesome for 'lil old Utah! Good find--how do you do it?
I miss Mr. B so much! He's the only principal I ever liked. You must take a picture w/ him, one of the ones where your shaking his hand and pointing @ him w/ the other while smiling @ the camera.
You go girl! LOL!
Argosy University. Is someone pulling your leg? Is that truly a real place of a pretend University someone set up in their house? I'm suspicious. But enjoy anyhow!!
Ask him to get it done before Screech gets himself killed in that celebrity wrestling thing he's doing now.
Have I ever loved anything as much as Saved By the Bell? Well nothing until Friends came along. ;)
Cute blog, congrats on the Mormon Mommy Blog nomination. That is what guided me over here.
