My Gift to You

As my Christmas gift to all of you...I am introducing you into my cousin, Becky's, new blog.

That picture is Becky and me at Christmas-time, 1992. Becky was actually supposed to be my sister. But my parents stopped having kids after me...something about 12 being enough? Anyway, that means Becky was sent to my double cousin's family so she would not be left up in Heaven to suffer the almost-similar fate of poor Emily in Saturday's Warrior.

She (Becky, not Emily) also mistakenly went to BYU-Idaho and I'm still trying to convince her of the error of her ways...but for now will have to content myself with the fact that she finally has a blog. The picture below is Becky and me right before jumping off a bridge in New Zealand.

Becky is hilarious, her ability to quote movies is inspiring and her taste in cheesy romance books unparalleled. As my Christmas gift to you, I've provided you with the link to her blog. You're welcome. Go check it out. She even dedicated her first post to me.

Merry Christmas!! What are you planning on giving me?

Also I'm flattered that you posted this. I hope I can life up to your expectations. :)
And I read a cheesy romance book just last night. Ever read flipped? It's for 12 year olds probably, but I loved it!

That's so awesome that you found out where your sister ended up, since it couldn't be in your own family!

And going to BYU Idaho is never a mistake under any circumstances. Just so you know.

I thought you never wanted a sister....so which one is it...sister or no sister, I am so confused....just kidding. I plan on giving you a chicken for Christmas.

Very generous. You never cease to give.

I just left a comment on Becky's blog....remember when we (and by we I mean your parents took all of us) took Benjy to the Hogle Zoo? He was such a darling little boy. And now he looks exactly like Joey! I couldn't believe it when I saw that picture.
I'm giving you a lovely visit to your beautiful new house on Dec 19th for Christmas. And if you're lucky maybe my Emily will blow you a kiss and say "ah-do!" which means I love you. :)

Well, none of my cousins blog, so I can't give you that.

How about a big cyber hug! You are a cutie!

Uhm I can share with you a new movie I made. Or how about the snowball I tried to make yesterday? Your cousins blog is so fun, can't wait to get to know her.

Oh wait speaking of double cousins, I meant to email this to you a while ago, but I read a book a long long time ago about that exact thing. For the life of me I can't remember the title but if I remember correctly there were maybe twins and then they had a cousin and the three of them all looked the exact same because of the double cousin thing. Anyway I liked it as a kid, to bad I can't remember the title. Haha.

Ok, I'll go visit your "should have been sister" .....and yes, in defense our your mom, 12 was probably enough!

BYU-Idaho is such a dumb name. I was irritated when they named it that. It is RICKS and will always be RICKS (that is where I went to school 100 years ago)
My son played football ---when they were RICKS, the real school. not some stupid baby school of BYU
(does it sound like I have issues here )
Now, what should I give you for Christmas----maybe one of my OLD Ricks t-shirts. (tee, hee)

OK how happy are you that Danny won? and evil Tracey, did she look sickly skinny to you? And what about the blond-do on Rebecca... that was a big no no for me...all in all the party could have used Barbaloot, but the spinach dip was killer....til next season.

Well, anyone who can quote Meet Me In St. Louis is good in my book. For Christmas I give you the gift of...um, merriness?
