Welcome to today's edition of "really important questions." I don't know why I wrote it like that. It's not like there are daily editions. Or like I've done any other editions for that matter. Nor do I know if there'll be future editions. I just know I like the way that sounded.
Anyway.
1. If you had to choose between chicken or beef for the REST of your life, which would it be?
Personally, I'd go for beef and I can tell you why in one word: Steak. Oh, and hamburgers. And Sunday roast. Okay, maybe more than one word...
2. If you could have ANY pet in the world, regardless of cost, safety, living standards etc., what would it be?
I'd have a penguin. I don't think I need to explain this. Penguins are awesome and everyone should want one.
3. Would you rather be able to sing really well, or dance really well?
I'd pick sing. I'm always a bit jealous when I accompany for great singers. When I see people dance, I mostly just enjoy watching rather than coveting.
4. Which is better: the new pretzel m&ms, or the old crunchy ones?
I'm leaning towards pretzel these days, but that may be because I've had them more recently.
5. Have you ever watched the TV show 'Psych'?
If not, you should. It's great.

1. i don't even have to think about it. chicken.
2. hedgehog
3. dance. i have NO moves. i envy dancers. plus it would get me into shape!
4. the only m&m worth talking about is the peanut m&m.
5. yes! i LOVE that show. the dialouge is SO funny.
"action.... action in my fanny pack."
I am with you on the steak. I was out to dinner with some girlfriends on Saturday, and while they were ordering their dainty sandwiches, I ordered prime rib.
Oh, and I am not a fan of the pretzel M&Ms.
chicken... I only eat red meat on the RARE occasions when I think my aging stomach is up to the challenge. TMI? sorry.
Pet? Can I make it a human? one that knows how to feed itself, wash itself... and can live on its own? sorry, not much of an animal person am I?
Sing... although maybe I SHOULD choose dance... since I'm pretty sure I look like Elaine when I try.
I don't do M&Ms - sorry, as much as I know you value my every opinion - I really don't have one on this :)
Psych is hilarious - I bribe my kids with the season DVDs just so that I can have them. drives me crazy if they're not as eager to watch them as I am!
1. Beef for the same reasons you stated.
2. Horse. But they scare me... don't judge me.
3. Sing--I can already dance. ha! :)
4. Peanut butter M&M
5. Of COURSE. I'm cool remember?
1. I would have to choose chicken, because I'm not a huge red meat eater (ironic, because we just purchase a quarter of a cow and it's in our freezer).
2. Any pet in the world...hmmm, a beta fish. I hear they don't die easily, so I think I could handle it.
3. I would rather dance well. I get jealous when I see good dancers.
4. My favorite m&ms are the crispy ones, that you almost never seen anywhere anymore.
5. This is the second time in one week I have been told to watch Psych. I guess I had better put it on my Netflix queue.
I like the sound of today's edition of "really important questions."
Here are my answers
1. Chicken
2. Giraffe. They're quiet, yet funny. I'm sure they'd be a great stand-up comic.
3. Dance. I might get in shape if I danced every day! Plus, nothing's better than watching an old lady dancing.
4. If I have to choose between the two - pretzel. But I'll take peanut, any ol' day of the week!
5. Never watched it. I guess I need extended cable.
1. Close call but I love a good hamburger.
2. Duck Billed Playtapus. Just saying it is fun.
3. Sing, I don't know why.
4. Yes, very funny.
Oops, lets make #4 peanut but I have yet to try the pretzel, love the commercials.
5. Yes I have and I agree its a good show.
Wait, I got totally distracted when I read m&ms. On a sugar fast right now.
Yeah, only weirdos don't want a penguin for a pet. . .
1. Chicken. I'm slightly afraid of meat, so boneless skinless is my choice (I know, sad. I've had steak once or twice. Not a huge fan)
2. Penguin (because I'm not a weirdo)
3. I've always wanted to learn to tap dance well. My husband thinks it's tacky, and I can understand his point, but I would never perform. I would just do it for me.
4. Never tried pretzel. Liked the crispy ones okay. (but I'm the only person I know who doesn't like pretzels in general)
5. Never heard of it. Wish I could watch it. . .
1. Meat doesn't sound good these days, but typically I love a good steak. Too bad chicken is more healthy and cheaper.
2. I have no idea- right now I'm just focused on explaining to Chris the many reasons why I don't want a dog yet.
3. I think it would be fun to dance well, but I'd rather be confident in singing.
4. Haven't tried pretzel and don't know what crunchy ones you're talking about. But I do enjoy most every kind of M&M I've tried.
5. Of course, it's a great show! Becky got me hooked. And thanks to Hulu I can watch it.
Fun questions!
42. The answer is always 42!
Great questions!
I would also go beef. I had a bad case of food poisoning from chicken almost 10 years ago and it still makes me a little wary of eating the bird.
Pets: I like my dog. I used to like cats but not anymore.
I LOVE to dance and would love to be able to do the ballroom dancing like Dancing with the Stars!
I do not like the new Pretzel M&M's - I was all excited when they came out and then I think I was disappointed because there wasn't an actual twisty pretzel inside - I know I'm a dork but it bugged me :D
PSYCH is my absolute favorite show and MONK was right up there with it while it was on the air! So glad to see a new season with Sean and the Guster!!
PSYCH! Oh my goodness I'm so excited to watch those episodes again. Lately I've been coveting great singers too! Also pretzel M&Ms? What else have I missed?
LOVE LOVE PSYCH. I thought the kung fu episode this season was hee hee heelarious. In fact this whole season has been particularly pee your pants funny. Those of you with out cable check it out on the internet. It is for sure must see tv.
Not only have I never watched Psych... I've never heard of it. Now I feel really out of it. If it doesn't have fat people barfing from too much exercise I'm not entertained. I haven't tried the new M&Ms yet, but I know I'll love them - and I'm a chicken fan, all the way!
First of all I am a little offended that you didn't mention my name in your answer for singing...thanks..just kidding.
1-Seriously it shouldn't be this hard....I pick both
2-You love penguins, you are funny, but they would make horrible pets. I choose...a freaking Leopard, but he would be really nice.
3-I think I choose dance, cause I really want to dance good.
4-since I have never had pretzel kind I guess I am left to choose the old kind, but really I choose peanut butter over anything....yummy, oh great now I feel like I need to go grocery shopping.
5-yes, and I think I need to watch some more with you....NOW!!!
I eat chicken way more often, but I LOVE beef. So it would have to be beef. For all the same reasons you already gave.
A chimp, definitely.
I'd rather sing. Which, I realize is probably a cop out for me, but I have no interest in dancing, really. And I already put all that hard work into singing!
I prefer almond M&M's but I really did like the crunchy ones. I don't like the pretzel kind at all.
Sorry. I have never seen it. I will have to look it up, though.
Pretzel M&Ms, huh? WOW, gotta try those! I was pretty impressed by the PB&J and the coconut ones!
I'm with you on the red meat thing! I love a good steak.
The penquin? Well, I think they would make a good pet as long as they could use a litter box.
I'm afraid I'll always be a peanut M&M lover.
My hubs loves Psych. Me? Meh.
I'm strictly an NCIS junkie.
Don't hate.
1. I don't know if I can answer that one with a definite decision. I LOVE steak and roast, but chicken is much more versatile for an everyday meat. Oh, don't make me decide!
2. A giraffe, as if you didn't already know the answer to that one. Don't they have amazing eyes? I have always wanted eyelashes like that.
3. I'll say sing. I have enough dance skill that I know I could be good if I actually practiced at it enough. Singing, on the other hand, I'm afraid I'm hopeless.
4. Crunchy m&ms, no question. They had potential, but the salty pretzel overpowers the chocolate, and I love the chocolate.
5.Haven't seen Psych, but I do watch and enjoy similar shows.
1. Beef... it's what's for dinner!
2. How about a unicorn (you didn't say they can't exist).
3. I already sing, I never could dance-- but I know that you can sing a lot later in life than you can dance... so unless I can dance really well until I turn 100, I'll say sing.
4. If the old crunchy ones are the peanut M&M's, then I'm for old and crunchy.
5. I think I watched it for 5 minutes... until my wife grabbed the remote and changed the channel.
Wow! You're right. Those are really important questions.
So, have you read the third book yet? Have you? Have you? Have you?
#1-Beef. Which is so funny because I used to totally be a chicken girl.
#2-Right now I think I would go for no pets. Can't handle any more pet drama.
#3-My initial thought was singing, but then I read all the comments about dancing would help you be in better shape and I do find that appealing.
#4-Um...neither. My favorites are the coconut m&m's. Seriously, you have to try them. They're better than Psych.
#5-No, I've never seen Psych. But I already knew I wasn't cool so that's not too much of a surprise.
Great Post. I love the idea!
1. I'd say beef - there's much more variety it seems!
2. I've always thought a monkey would be awsome.
3. Sing cause there's no way I'd ever be a good dancer - not a chance!
4. Definitely Pretzel ones! I wasn't even close to being a fan of the crunchy ones (or was it crispy ones?)
5. Nope...
