How To Get People To Like You

Move.

No-seriously. The second my move from AZ to UT became common knowledge, I had a ton of people that I didn't even realize knew me, let alone like me, wanting to hang out.

People took me out to eat, bought movie tickets for me, made me treats, bought me presents...I felt like a pseudo-celebrity. It's possible that I even had someone tell me they wished I wasn't moving cuz they had a crush on me.

Seriously, if you ever need a boost in self-esteem, just move.

That's awesome that you're getting spoiled, but the people there realize that it's not going to make you stay right? Cause you need to come back here!

True that. When I lived in Provo, no one (and I include you in that) cared and once I moved to Idaho, everyone was all like, "Where's Emily? I liked her." Yeah, right. And what's more is that when I moved from NC to UT as a mere child of 13, I seriously had hoards of peeps calling me and saying, "Why did you move? I mean, sure I've gone to school with you since you were a tot and never noticed that you were alive but I was just going to start!" Whatever. I'm getting cheese fries.

Funny, but you need to quit that. Everyone liked you before too.

This is funny cause my aunt just asked me to see if we could set you up with my cousin moving down to AZ. He plays soccer, isn't that one of your requirements?

DId I miss something - are you back in UT? What job did you get? Where will you live? Just bring all those boys with you - tell them it is a real test of their love.

Thats funny!!! We moved and people were always wanting to get together before we left but not new people. You just must be really popular!!! How is AZ treating you? I was thinking about our college days together. Boy do I miss those days. Not that I am not happy now but I really had a good time with you and Liz. Love you! Miss you!
