More Questions?

Perhaps I should just turn this blog (that never had any specific subject in the first place) into a question forum since it seems like that's all I have to write about these days. Anyway.

1. Where are the yellow m&ms? Do they still exist? They don't in the pretzel kind. And also-maybe I should stop asking questions about m&ms.

2. If I send out graduation announcements now, do you think I'll get presents? I found a box of announcements at my parent's house recently that I never sent out. Announcements from high school. My 18 year old self was not aware that people sent money in return for getting one of those. Dang my past self! But anyway, if I send them now, what do you think will happen?

3. What was your favorite part of Eclipse? (I finally saw it last night.) Mine was Victoria's hair. Red? And curly? It does not get better than that.

4. If you had to choose between having a pool or a sauna, which would you pick? I know pools are great and all, but I think I could live in a sauna forever.

5. Kindles. I get that they're convenient and all, but can they compare with the joy of owning shelves of books? Actually having the books to hold, and stack and collect? I don't think so.

Do you think I should stop asking so many questions and start finding some answers in life?

No sauna for me. I get too hot and closed in and feel like I will pass out. So that's awesome.

answers shmanswers... questions are MUCh more fun!

of course, that's just me excusing myself for not having any decent answers...

I'll try though -
1 - M&M questions throw me every time... we did a statistics project using M&Ms a few years ago and there seemed to be WAY too many yellow ones.
2 - It's never too late, perhaps it's a bit early even... wait for the economy to improve a little before sending them out!
3 - I didn't see Eclipse yet... I know - shoot me now.
4 - Can I take a hot tub instead?
5 - ManOfTheHouse would love it if I switched to a Kindle... fewer bookshelves and all... but I love my books, I like how they smell... is that weird? I'm reading a book (well, a book in progress) on my laptop currently (for lack of a Kindle or other e-reader) and I have to limit myself to an hour at a time... my eyes just get too tired.

Pool. The sauna makes you all hot.
Me? I haven't seen eclipse yet, so I haven't seen her hair yet, but it sounds pretty!

Okay, and I love the feel of books too!

Totally all about the books on the shelf. Then you can display your literary wealth. Who knows, maybe that person with a Kindle only has ONE book on it!!

Sad.

I love books, except for right now, since were moving next week and I can already feel my back aching from the thought of having to lug all those boxes of books.

There are different colors of M&Ms? I hadn't taken the time to notice.

I have a question about M&Ms? The beanut butter M&Ms remind me of how Reeses Pieces used to be when they first came out. Am I just imagening that Reeses Peices used to have chocolate in them?

Who needs yellow? The white and green coconut ones rock as do the red/burgundy wild cherry flavor.

I am low-tech. No kindle. I love books.

Yes, I like your blog of questions idea very must. Your strength is questions and lists.

I can't remember my favorite part of Eclipse. I think it was Jacob. I do remember my least favorite part was Bella's wig.

I'm with you on the shelves and shelves of books. I would do it just for the smell.

if you send me an annoucement, i will send you a jar of pomegranite jam. i hear you're partial to it. ;)

i have a kindle. i love books, but eventually you simply run out of shelves, and room in your purse.

Now I have to go buy a package of m&ms to see if there are yellow. Perhaps they're hanging out with the tan m&ms which were sadly replaced by blue years ago. Tan were my favorite. Sigh.

I definitely prefer actual books. Sometimes I'll listen to books, so I can multitask, but real books rock! I saw something once about a guy who would tear the pages out of a book as he finished them so he always knew where to start when he opened it up to read again. Part of me thinks that's just awful, another part wants to try it out just for fun.

Peanut M&M's still contain yellows, not sure why the pretzel kind don't. Kindle--waste of money and time. Get an ipad. That way, if you WANT to, you can use to read books (it can be really convenient and also the print is bigger which is important to old people like me) or People magazine AND play games, keep your calender, unlimited pages of notes, write a book, always have a calculator handy, read your email and do facebook (or even blog) if you so desire. Best thing I bought--ever!

I'm working my way through a 5 lb bag of pretzel m&ms - mostly because you recommended them.

Send the announcements! I totally sent announcements when I graduated college. I didn't get as much money as HS, but every penny counts! I'll send you a bag of m&ms.

Haven't seen Eclipse.

Sauna, all the way. Even in 100 degree weather I think a pool is too cold. I like it hot!

I totally agree with you about Kindles. I don't even think they're all that convenient. The paper thing is way better.

Yellow M&M's? Mmmmmmm, I don't care if they disappear, they are funny tasting anyway.

I have pondered upon a Kindle, but I love the feel of paper in my hands.

I think you should send out the announcements. Seriously.
I think it would be awesome.

Send me an announcement...I'll send you a tooney (thats 2 bucks in canada money)

What the crap is a Kindle.....never heard of it, but I am NOT into technology or anything like that. Anything that replaces the REAL book, is sick and wrong in my opinion.

and I KNOW sick and wrong.

I totally think Kindles are robbing the bookshelves of the world! Boo on technology!!! And saunas: living in Russia, they are OBSESSED with them and attribute their perfect skin to them so I think they rock!

I am not eating sugar, so your M&M question made me sad. :(

I haven't seen Eclipse.

I am with Heidi. I would want something more versatile.

I like your questions, in all of their randomness! :)

yes, too many questions

M&M's...not a fan. Go figure! I'd rather have a Twix bar any day. (That is if I can't get my hands on Canadian chocolate.)

Send out those announcements 2 weeks before you graduate or else they will be lost & forgotten on a person's counter.

Favorite part of Eclipse....I will go with most improved part...Edward didn't look so pasty. And the theatre I saw it in, every time Jacob came on the screen some guy made the sound, "Bow-chicky-bow-bow". It made us crack up.

POOL!

BOOKS!

=)

I'm with Kristina on the sauna stuff. I always think I'd like it but then I can only last like 5 minutes before I have to run away and breath fresh air.

I so would rather have shelves of books. Kindles sound cool, carrying a bunch of books around with you all the time, but I'd still rather carry my actual book. I just like that I look like I'm reading instead of surfing the internet (which I realize is not the point of the kindle).

I was not aware of receiving any money after I sent out my HS graduation announcements, so when I started receiving the announcements myself, it was quite awhile before I realized that was the expectation. Looking back, since I have 5 brothers, and my husband has 6 siblings, and all of them all have very large families, and now their kids are having kids, I probably would be (more) broke right now if I had sent everyone a check! We are talking over a hundred graduates here... so far . . .

I thought the old victoria was cooler looking.

And the kindle is so immediate, plus we have so many books we could open a library...so I say, BOTH!

You must really sit there and think about the m&ms while you eat them! :) I love those pretzel ones!
